These drives are quiet, and as fast as you are going to get in a spinning disk. Availability on these is still somewhat constrained, but getting better, and so is the price, but.... Cons: ...they are still too expensive for what they are. In just a few years we won't need spinning disk hard drives as capacities of solid state drives improve and costs come down. Other Thoughts: Newegg had the best price, was a bit concerned ordering hard drives from newegg though because in the past they would not properly pack them and had a lot of DOA RMAs for hard drives, this isnt a reflection of the manufacturer, just the retailer middle man not understanding how to pack and ship fragile components. Pros: Bought the 4TB SATA version, using in RAID array. These drives are quiet, and as fast as you are going to get in a spinning disk. Availability on these is still somewhat constrained, but getting better, and so is the price, but....
