Pros: Flawless installation and quiet operation...bought two of these drives to use one as a primary and the other in a USB external case for backup. Both worked great. Newegg as always was a joy to work with.

Pros: Works as expected. A good drive for a typical office workstation. I upgraded a few 3 year old Dells w/ older 5k drives. Quiet and fast.

Pros: It's a hard drive... it either works or it doesn't.

Cons: If there was a con, I would have had to return it, but seeing as how it runs fine, I can't have one here :-P

Pros: id give this hard drive 5 stars, it came running up smoothly without any trouble. a 160gb hdd that is truely enough for many people. id buy another one anytime

Cons: it says that the drive is 160gb but really when you install a os and look at the drive again, it says it has 149gb, 11gb is alot considering the apps that can be installed on it.

Other Thoughts: i was looking for a sata150 hdd, but i couldnt find one by seagate so i went to western digital and found that the sata150 were raptors and 250gb hdds, those were a bit pricey so i had to drop to a eide, but in the end the purchase wasnt bad at all, now do sata300 work with sata150 ports? does the hdd downspeed itself??

Pros: This hard drive is everything I could want in a mid level HD capacity. At 7200 rpm and 160gb you cant go wrong with the price. I shopped around and am very happy I did.

Cons: the cache size could be larger

Other Thoughts: simple to install even if computers are as familiar as the Greek alphabet a few online tips or using the good instructions will have you looking like a computer science major, well maybe not that good

Pros: low cost 160GB laptop drive

Cons: failed in a couple of weeks. I was playing some mp3s off the drive and the music stopped. Cycle power and "UNMOUNTABLE BOOT VOLUME" - lucky I still have a ghost image from last month (before I upgraded)

Other Thoughts: you realize what the real "value" of a drive is when you risk losing all your work and data. reliability is number 1

Pros: Price. 5 year warranty.

Cons: None found.

Pros: Very cheap - After shipping and rush processing it was still only 41 cents a GB.
Easy to use - All I had to do was pop it in and format it accordingly, no hiccups.

Cons: None at all.

Pros: Excellent.
I couldn't be happier. It works good and fast, quiet and oh... I've never have had any problem with Seagate.... I had the ones with 3 years warranty and they are running in the fifth years now. Had called them before and had some questions... tech is very straight forward and right of point. Drive temps is 26-28 C at least in my system.
If you need a good, fast , quiet ... this is the one. You can't go wrong on this one.
