I like my new Seagate FreeAgent!
- Pros: Working like a champ so far. Runs very cool and quiet. The packaging is nicer than I though it would be. A shiny dark chocolate brown that looks black in dim lighting. The pulsing (Apple-like) yellow activity indicator is sharp too. New technology cooling mechanism designed by Seagate seems to do the trick and hopefully will extended this drive's life expectancy.
- Cons: I wish it had an on-off switch for when I'm not using it. Have to pull the cord to turn it off.
- Other Thoughts: Given the reliability issues with USB external drives it's nice to see Seagate enter the game. I think they have a winner here.

- Pros: Good quality, size. Been fiercly moving/copying data past couple days and its gone great so far. Works perfectly out of the box. Plug it in and you're good to go.
Been using it to play music for hooours and it's not very warm.

- Other Thoughts: Design is a bit odd. Big yellow light bar runs vertically at the front, its a nice dim yellow though, so it's not too intrusive.
