Pros: Great drive at a good price. Just plug in and drive is up and running. Software on drive for backup, sync files, and file encryption.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: I bought this drive to backup large numbers of photo, movie and music files. Selected this drive based solely on the manufacturer. I have 7 Seagate drives spread across 3 computers and have never had a problem. Have had two drives from other manufacturers fail, so I figured 'if it ain't broke, don't change it --- buy another Seagate'.

Pros: Transfer speeds about as decent as you could expect for a 7200RPM drive over USB 2.0, works as it should. Comes formatted as NTFS which should be expected. The case has a modest look to it, it's not an eyesore when sitting on my desk. When under load it will get warm but not hot.
Cons: It could use a power or LED switch. The fact that the light on the front isn't able to be turned off any way other than removing the power plug is a minor annoyance. Not enough for me to knock off an egg though.
Other Thoughts: I have a 320gb Western Digital drive for my Vista 32 desktop and a 160gb drive in my MacBook. This drive works great for backing up files from both (with a little work for OS X due to the non native NTFS recognition in Leopard).

Good Drive, High Price

Pros: This drive has plenty of space, it comes to about 596 Gb formatted. Good looking drive, it comes with feet and a bracket so that it can be set down flat or stood up.
Cons: None other than the price, I bought this drive elsewhere for about two thirds of the price newegg has it for.
Other Thoughts: The drive lights up in the front which could be good or bad depending on how you plan on using it, I myself am indifferent. The drive has a mini USB connection on the back and comes with a mini USB to USB cable just in case anyone wants to know.
