Cons: bad sectors on a new drive, not happy at all, I expected better of Seagate, been using them for years...

Pros: Works. Its a hard drive

Cons: Not the fastest

Pros: got to replace a hp laptop hdd, works great.

Other Thoughts: I originally bought this drive in August, 2011, upgrade my 60GB PS3 drive. The swap was easy and the PS3 took it without a hassle. I have had days where I've played for hours on end...almost 14-20 hours non-stop, and this drive held up with barely a glitch. Note, I also installed the cooling pack on the PS3 to increase longevity. It wasn't until today that I finally upgraded my PS3 to a Samsung 840 series 500GB SSD. The Seagate 500GB is still in perfect condition, but I wanted to speed up loading time, plus I intended to quiet down the PS3. Not that the 5400RPM is loud, but since the Samsung was on sale for a great price, and I didn't have anywhere else to apply the upgrade, the PS3 won the coin toss. I'm still keeping the Seagate in an enclosure, as a backup for the PS3, in case the SSD fails at any point in time. Nevertheless, this is a sturfy drive.

Pros: Worked alright when it worked, Didn't just crash outright and I've backed up my files

Cons: Started degrading/failing in about 3 months, SMART detected it was failing, random hangs

Other Thoughts: Came with my Dell Inspiron M5110

Pros: It works when it works

Cons: Completely dead after a few months

Other Thoughts: It was the HDD inside my Transcend Storejet 25M2 by default. Owned 3 of them, and 1 died only after a few months.

Pros: Works, doesnt not work, works, fast, not slow

Cons: It is not free or bigger, it also does not give me telemetry data for reentry vectoring. I have had better sushi in town but this drive does better at storing music and pictures.

Other Thoughts: I feel good today, I think it is from my dream last night where i was snuggling with a hottie... yes, it was JUST SNUGGLIN'!

Pros: no pros its garbage.

Cons: Cheap and no durability. Absolute garbage. dont use this hard its a garbage it comes with my sony vaio core i5 but it died in 7 months. so i refer don't use this hard drive.

Pros: Gave me enough space for a good price.

Cons: Drive is showing signs of failure. SMART tests couldn't complete and usually failed within a few seconds after starting. Had a BSOD once and ever since, many bad sectors appeared.

Other Thoughts: To me it was more annoying than anything since I did have a backup (Always have a backup!). It was great while I had it, though now I might prefer a 7200 rpm drive over 5400. Also I'd go with Western Digital as I've had some drives in the past that were much more reliable.

Pros: I will give the drive I have some credit. While it still functions 7-8 months later, it is showing bad sectors. It shows only a few, but due to them being bad, I'm replacing the hard drive. I already backed up the os partitions, so reloading is not an issue. This drive is an oem drive from Acer, but I'm not going to wait for the RMA from them.

Cons: The only real con that I have is the bad sectors. Still functions, but just do not trust it anymore.

Other Thoughts: I'm going to keep the drive and put it in a anti-static bag. I'm doing it just in case the replacement drive fails for any reason.
