Pros: Plugged it in, did a Win7 image restore -no problem. What else do you want? It's a great drive

Pros: I bought this for my Netbook 1000HD , and it was very easy to install. I put it in a Kingwin EZ-Dock, cloned my stock HDD by booting from the Acronis Home disk and running the clone utility to copy my Windows 7 installation.

Installing was a breeze, I just took the old one out and plopped this one in. Windows 7 came right up and I ran checkdisk just to be sure it was fine. It shows 465MB of free space, and seems a lot faster than the drive that I replaced. I haven't had it long, but so far no heat/noise issues.

I recommend it.

Cons: Doesn't wash my dishes or mow my lawn.

Pros: Great size for my PS3 slim. I have around 100 gb of Movies, music, and games on the HDD right now and I have over 390gb left for more games and movies. Same speed as original 250gb HDD that was in there so it still runs quiet and cool. great buy for $50 & free shipping!

Cons: None what so ever!

Other Thoughts: Great price for the amount of storage. Also, buy a 2.5" external enclosure and you can turn the old HDD into a portable one that has a great amount of storage for half the price of a WD passport or something else!

Pros: Purchased two, one to upgrade laptop one for laptop backup., Great drive. Runs cool and quite.

Other Thoughts: Bought this as a replacement for my 80gb PS3 drive. I can't attest to the longevity of it at the moment, since I just installed it this morning. Cons: -It came unpartitioned (duh). The only reason i mention this is because i spent a lot of time trying to figure out why my PC recognized it as an external USB device but would not open the drive for file transfer. I should have realized this. But lo! i learned a new skill! how to format an external drive!

-i'm using this as an external in a Rosewill case, and the system works swimmingly.

Pros: + I bought this to upgrade my Black Macbook's 160GB HDD, so far it has worked flawlessly.
+ The 160GB HDD that I took out of my Macbook was an Apple stamped Seagate Drive, so if you're upgrading your Macbook and don't trust Seagate, you might already have a Seagate drive inside your computer.
+ It's cheap, and works.

Cons: - now it's cheaper than how much I payed

Other Thoughts: I bought this drive back in March, and waited 3+ months to write my review because some people said theirs died within 3 months of use. I've kept my old HDD around just encase that happened, but I have yet to have any issues with my HDD, not even "clicking" that some people have wrote about.

and if anyone said anything about noise, it's just about as loud/silent as my old HDD.

Pros: Works with my ThinkPad T60. Upgraded from 60GB Hitachi (7200RPM).
I originally had most of my files (music, pictures, videos, etc.) on an external hard drive (320GB). Just moved everything off from that and now I use it as my backup.

Cons: I have none at the moment, though I'm hearing that some owners have had theirs fail after a few weeks or months. I certainly hope that is not the case for me.

Other Thoughts: When I purchased this, I was aware that this was a 5400 RPM Hard Drive, which was a step down from my original hard drive (7200 RPM). I thought this may decrease performance slightly, but I haven't noticed any difference in performance whatsoever.
(Also, when I purchased this I was offered a free external SATA/PATA 2.5" enclosure for free with my order, almost a $20 value. Unfortunately I must have forgotten to put a check-mark by that item as I checked out. I was a little disappointed at first, but I checked back with my order and, sure enough, I forgot about it! My advice is to make sure you take advantage of those special offers and be sure to CHECK your order!)

Pros: I got this drive as an upgrade of a very noisy Toshiba 80GB HD that came with my Playstation 3.

This drive was much quieter than the other one, with no chirping from parking heads, and scratching noises from reading and seeking was at a much lower volume.

Cons: Nothing.

Other Thoughts: Bare drive = drive in a non-static bag surrounded by bubble wrap. No mounting screws, no SATA cable.
