Pros: The price was right, and the storage was tight!

Cons: I didn't buy this drive at NewEgg, but that wouldn't have mattered as it's not their fault. My drive is clicking to the beat of me writing this review! A sorta snapable and catchy tune. It clicked right out of the box, day one. I'm glad to read that i'm not alone and that we could easily start a club for people who own these faulty little black boxes. I've heard metronomes that clicked with less vigor!

Other Thoughts: There is no way on this green-ish earth that Seagate was unaware that there was an epidemic on their hands. Just plugging in the power yields an earful. Maybe the factories are so loud that they employees are either deaf or have to wear earplugs. No excuse. Zero.

Pros: The price is outstanding. The drive itself has alot of storage for the price.

Cons: Like everyone else, the drive has started clicking after long use. I have had the drive for over 2 months now and didn't have any problems until recently now the drive clicks uncontrollably and sometimes freezes while playing movies.

Other Thoughts: This drive is probably great and lasts a long time if all your going to use it for is storage if you want to use the drive for movies to watch from on a farely consistent basis I would not suggest this drive.

Pros: It is a really large hard drive at a low price..

Cons: I get all these clicking sounds from the hard drive. The HD turns itself off to often and when i'm ready to access something it has to wait... But it seems this starting and stopping of the HD has now caused it to be faulty... sometimes the videos i'm watching off the drive will glitch...

Other Thoughts: I did have a virus on the drive that I found a little while ago... but i got rid of it with a virus scan... but the hard drive still has this clicking and slow response at times... I wish i could try a format and see if that fixed the problems... but i dont have anywhere to store the data to try that.
