Pros: Good drive not too loud. works great now.

Cons: did not work right out of the box I had to hook it to another computer and format the drive because it was not preformatted enough to install an os. it would show up on the bios but would not work to install an os.

Other Thoughts: works great now and just as quick as a 7200rpm just quieter.

Pros: Super quite, you wont even know if its working.

Cons: Makes a notable noise starting up, but it is bearable.

Pros: Lot of space for a low price.

Cons: Makes some noise when spinning up and initializing. Not the quietest drive I own but it isn't that bad.

Other Thoughts: I have 2 of these in a Thecus NAS so I can comment on their speed as the device is the limiting factor.
