Pros: WoW! I have a Sony Laptop with 100GB HDD that was getting fairly full, lots of video that I'm working with. I plugged in the replica (500) it asked a couple questions and started backing up, took several hours. I connected it weekly for the next three weeks. I bought a 500GB Seagate HDD, installed it then connected the replica with the recovery CD in the system(included), per instructions and it restored everything just as it had been. I rebooted and it worked perfectly. Anybody that can change a HDD could use this, it's automatic.
Cons: After the restore the Hdd was still shown as a 100GB drive and the remaining 400GB could not be accessed, it restored the partition format too as I expected. I downloaded a free copy of "GNU Parted", wrte it to a CD, booted the CD and changed the partition to 500.
Other Thoughts: I don't often get excited about a backup drive but this replica drive is the best solution I have ever seen for my needs. It has many other features but sorry Mac Guys, you are on your own!

Pros: A great back up system, backs up the whole system. Just plug it in and let it go - I don't have to think about anything. Been working with Windows 7 flawlessly.

Not for Windows Server

Pros: None, could not use.
Cons: Tried to install on a system runing Windows Server 2003. Got the following error message: "This version of Rebit is not licensed to run on Windows Server".
I didn't have a compatibility issue, it was a licensing issue that Seagate failed to disclose in their web site.
