Pros: Worked fine out of the box, no connection issues and it was in perfect condition.

Cons: None so far(3 months running).

Cons: Not so much of a con, but I ordered this as part of a package deal with a DVD read/writer by accident. I had a different hardrive picked out and I thought it was that one with the DVD drive. After the order I was hitting myself in the face, seeing all the bad reviews. I got lucky I suppose.

Other Thoughts: Will Update as time goes on. Knowing my luck it will die the day after the warranty expires, but we shall see.

Going off of reviews there are more trustworthy hard drives for the price range. I'd recommend a different one. Just be sure you know what you are buying, don't make the mistake I made.

Other Thoughts: I almost returned it since it wouldn't load the day It got here and I put it in... found out my modular PSU is failing.

Pros: Makes a Great Paper Weight. Holds papers on my desk well even when the fan is running It can be used to level off furniture or if you need an extra inch to reach something in the closet.

Cons: This is the 2nd drive that has gone bad on me in a matter of a month. My poor customer is pulling his hair out and I have none left to pull out. Had a few before I purchased this drive. The clunk of death for the 2nd time on this drive.

Other Thoughts: I have 2 of these in the same computer and both have died. It is time to go back to WD.

Well, I work in the esports industry and purchased this thing about a month ago to fit into a new build I was going to use for recording gameplay footage (screen capturing).
Since day 1, I would get 5-10 minutes into a recording and the hdd would crash and the system would blue screen. I cannot even begin to tell you how embarrassing it is to be in the middle of a professional interview with someone and have your computer crash every 5 minutes.

Other Thoughts: If all you're looking to do is store pictures and/or play video games casually -then this thing could work for you.
But if you plan on doing any screen capturing (fraps, dxtory, razer screencast) or video editting, then I highly recommend looking elsewhere (maybe even a different brand).

Cons: Terrible Hard Drive. I have had this hard drive for less than 4 months and it constantly stops working. It makes a loud noise and the computer will not recognize it anymore, particularly when data is being transferred from it. If I shut down the computer for a while, and then turn it back on, the computer will recognize it. I would not buy this hard drive again and I am unsure if I will ever buy from Seagate again.
