Pros: Lot of go for hd movie for a good price is my first seagate hdd ,All others hdd i got in all my pc is Western Digital , i will see if seagate ave good product , Durability & not errors for max 5 years

Pros: It had worked wonderful as a mass storage device for just about any of the files I could put onto there for a long time.
Decent write and read speeds.
Showed a number of signs before dying

Cons: Noisy
Only lasted two years, I expected to have gotten more from it
Died about a week ago, have not made any progress on retrieving the huge amount of personal data I had kept stored on that drive... not sure what to do.

Other Thoughts: Hopefully I can figure out a way to retrieve the data on this drive...

Pros: Somewhat cheap at the time

Cons: Health status on CrystalDiskInfo is yellow (caution). Computer freezes sometimes because of bad drive. Less than 3 years old when problems occured.

Other Thoughts: Hard drive works but with errors. All I use it for is to store movies and other data. Afraid to use it now before it goes completely dead.

Pros: -I benchmarked this drive in atto and crystalmark and it comes out with 220MB/s as soon as it reaches 8k reads and over. This is surprisingly fast compared to the 1tb drive I bought a couple years ago that benched at 120 MB/s. I bought this drive to act as a downloads/steam drive and its perfect for its use. Games load very fast for a HDD and 2 TB of space is alot to fill up. Coming as a longtime ssd fan, I would even say this drive is fast enough to act as a main drive and many people with be very satisfied with the speed of it.
-Packaged well, drive was encased in airpacking in a box inside of another larger box.

Cons: -potential failure rate as seen from other reviews

Other Thoughts: -Even with the recent bad reviews, I think that this drive is worth it
-The free shipping took 8 days to arrive in idaho(but hey free shipping)

Pros: Sustained 210 MB/s read speed, 180 MB/s for write
2TB for 90$.
Hardly any bad sectors after 3 years

Cons: None really, time will tell how reliable it is.

Other Thoughts: Windows 10 users: if your new drive doesn't show up under this PC, left click the start button and select disk management. You will need to manually allocate the drive.

Pros: Works well after 2 years.

Pros: Cheap hard drive storage option

Cons: The hard drive failed after 3 years of use, I am not the only one to experience this type of failure based on other reviews. There was no signs of failure before it occurred, no bad sectors, nothing abnormal. Then today it all of a sudden stopped being able to read or write to the disk, after a few restarts for trouble shooting, my BIOS no longer recognized the disk, effectively killing it.
