N/A 1/15/2013 9:30:08 PM Tech Level: 5/5 Ownership: 4/5	Rating: 5/5One of the best Enterprise-Class drives Pros: Enterprise-class drive. Very fast 15K RPM, Average Latency 2ms, small form factor 2.5. These drives have fast read /write speeds with sustained transfer rates at 200 MB/s. Even the failure rate on these drives is very low. I'm a systems engineer for IT dept. at a large health benefits company. We use these drives in alot of our servers and they are highly reliable and are very fast. If you are serious about needing high performance and reliable data storage, then these are the drives for you. Cons: None really. The drive works as designed. Other Thoughts: The first reviewer obviously doesn't have the knowledge of enterprise class hard drives. Never post a review to hardware you don't understand what it even is or how it works. Large companies depend on this drive to keep their information safe and quickly accessable. Cons: None yet. Other Thoughts: I am an Engineer on site of one of the largest IT hardware and software companies in the world. I can assure everyone that these drives are indeed high-end because I'm sitting here looking at one right now before it goes into a 5,000lb. Unix machine. Newegg is correct in their description. Cons: The other reviewer doesn't have the knowledge of enterprise systems to post a review to this drives Other Thoughts: I have not used this specific drive, but the last generation of it is very fast and I have used it in a Poweredge 2900 with perc raid controller.
