Pros: None that I can think of.

Cons: Somewhat reasonable price but after a few months, the drive has all kinds of bad blocks has problems. Bought this to replaced a failed drive that was in a Dell Laptop. Should not have bought the same junk drive.

Pros: EASY DIRECT FIT WITH DO LOADING ISSUES.

Cons: Cheap and no durability. Absolute garbage. My Acer laptop came with a Toshiba HD. Guess what? It died in 7 months. I don't give a rat's behind about warranty because Acer wanted me to send my entire laptop for repair. Acer told me it was going to take 10 days. I did not have 10 days. I use my laptop for work/school. I'm in an intensive health care program at a college. I didn't have 10 days to wait for my computer to get fixed. So that warranty policy did absolutly nothing...nothing for me. My Acer Laptop is good laptop and I'm very satisfied with it. However Acer needs to put something other than these low quality and pathetic hard drives from a company who main speciality are making TV's and DVD players. Not hard drives.

Other Thoughts: There are good brands of hard drives such as Western Digital, Seagate, Hitachi and Samsung. Toshiba? No and why? I hardly had 25% of that hard drive filled and that Toshiba hard drive garbage failed on me on 7 months? 7 months? Are you kidding me? Wow!

As stated earlier what a Toshiba TV? Good. They are good TV's. I have a Toshiba flat screen LCD television and I'm very happy with it. Want a Toshiba radio, stereo system or speakers? Okay, Toshiba makes those things with good quality. What a Toshiba Blue-ray or DVD player? Yes no problem because Toshiba makes good DVD and Blu-Ray players too. However a Toshiba HD? No, no...no! Toshiba stinks in making hard drives. Toshiba laptop computers? No, no, No! My friend has a Toshiba Laptop and it gives him problems.

Bottom line when it comes to computers and computer hard drives, stay the heck away from Toshiba. They are horrible.

Other Thoughts: Replaced optical drive with caddy and HDD in Dell Latitude e4300. Disabled bay in bios so it doesn't even start unless I tell it to. Should last a long time that way.

Pros: Price and size, worked great till it died.

Cons: Died on me just shy of 3 months, now its a paperweight. I wish I would have saw the rating for the the new hard-drive, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822149128 before I bought it.

Other Thoughts: If you buy it get the extended warranty.

Pros: Used this to replace an external 7200 (want to upgrade my laptop 200 gb drive). Using Windows 7 disk management, make sure you format the drive first, otherwise it will not show up with the rest of your drives.

Cons: No cons.

Pros: Very good GB/$. Used this drive to replace an old PS3 hard drive as I ran out of room to store games. The drive works great in the PS3 and speed seems to be on par with the drive it replaced. Newegg included an extra 1-year warranty, which gives me extra peace of mind.

Cons: I would prefer 7200RPM, but I realize that is not something I can expect at this price.

Other Thoughts: I have purchased a handful of refurbished drives from Newegg and through other sites in the past without any problems. Most people probably cringe at the thought of a refurbished hard drive, but I have had nothing but good luck with them.

Pros: Looking for a way to get secure, low-cost storage, I came across this little gem. Four of these, combined with a 4x1 carrier, and I have 1.8GB of RAID-protected storage for my home videos & pictures. When I bought it, they included 1yr of warranty coverage, so I can "limp" along while I get a replacement.

My other option for the same lvl of protection was 2x 1.5GB USB drives. These aren't speed demons, but are certainly faster than USB 2.0.

Cons: normally I stay away from refub HDD, but with a warranty (as good as most you get these days) the risk is mitigated.

Pros: Mostly silent, Lots of space 640gb. worked on first boot system recognized it what more do you want

Cons: 5400rpm is a little slow, this wouldnt be a good upgrade hard drive more of a replacement hard drive
