Pros: - Got it on sale.
- Reasonably fast (for 5400 drive).
- Windows installed without hitch.
- Previous to installing Windows, I had Ubuntu running like a champ.

Cons: - None for the price and general expectation of the 5400 HD.

Other Thoughts: - This HD replaced main drive on failed HP laptop. In that capacity, it seems to work quite well.
- Given a combination of price and specs, this is a highly recommended HD.

Pros: It's Installed in my HP laptop. I needed to downgrade to win 7 to stay compatible with my work but I wanted to keep the win 8 drive for ease of later upgrade. It's not a speed demon but is quiet. I hope it is a work horse.

Cons: Not really a con but Slower than I expected.

Other Thoughts: Nothing it works as advertised.
