Pros: Very nice looking, light and compact. Indicator light for USB 2 is white, USB 3 is blue. The light is a tad bright, but not obnoxiously so.

USB 3 mode seems pretty quick. I didn't do a performance measurement though.

Cons: I cloned the system main drive to these drives on three computers. Windows 8.1 complains that the drive is protected when booting from it. Windows 7 seems to boot from it, but it is taking 15+ minutes to do so. It's taking longer to boot from it than it took to clone the drive.

I have done bootable USB drives with two of these three computers before, when moving data to an SSD for an upgrade.

Other Thoughts: If booting wasn't my reason for buying these drives, I'd love them. Maybe there's information out there that could have prevented me from buying these drives had I known it.

Pros: Affordable, silver in color like it came with the MAC

Cons: portable drive with 2.5 drive hdd which draws it's power from the computer

Pros: Lightweight, sexy, cheap. Transferred 24 gigs in 19 minutes on usb 2.0.

Cons: The light that lets you know it's working is a bit bright, so if you're a super leet computer dude working in the dark, it may get annoying unless you put it against your tower.

Other Thoughts: If you're like me, you haven't read the whole "For Mac" part and you bought it for a Windows machine. So you can go to disk manager and delete its volume then make a new partition to format it for windows.

Pros: Compact, slim, attractive

Cons: It gets its small size from having a USB controller card instead of a SATA card and USB adapter.
When you open it up, it's just a brushed aluminum top and bottom glued to a bare drive with a built in USB interface.
Unfortunately for me, I bought it hoping to put the drive in my laptop and put my laptop's old drive in the external housing. Not possible with this drive.
