Pros: This is a very cool device if you have the need for something like this!

App is packed with many options and works great. User Interface can be customized to suit your needs.

Options to allow for internet access, change SSID, and password protection option if you would like to make it more secure. Even has a task manager option!

Tested with my tablets and smart phones all running android. At 50 feet the signal was still decent, and I had no problem streaming files.

I was able to stream videos; mp3’s and view pictures with this device with absolutely no problems at all. Worked with various memory sticks, and portable hard drives!

Cons: None at all!

Other Thoughts: This Toshiba adapter, adds wireless to your personal + ssd drives. Instruction manual shows pictorials and descriptions. I read another review that stated the manual is poor, however I don't believe it, it's adequate with the pictorials. I would guess that the poor manual review is by someone that has trouble hooking devices together. Simply hook the Toshiba to your personal or ssd drive, charge it, and your off for wireless operation, of tv's, desktops, laptops, smart phones etc. There is also a manual online, that may be more detailed.

The Toshiba wireless arrived in the normal time, and was packaged in a packet, though opening it revealed the parts were all bubble wrapped. I really appreciate the seller for the packaging, as some of my other goods have arrived not in the best shape. Perhaps the bubble wrap was for the sensitivity of the Toshiba adapter,

The sale price was exceptionally good, though it has returned to it's normal price. Toshiba also sells the adapter with a 3Tb Toshiba personal drive, though I tend to pair it with Samsungs, WDs, GDrives, and Matsunchis, many of which I've bought from Newegg.

Since I've many drives, I'll probably try the Toshiba wireless paired with one for a while, and later buy more Toshiba adapters for my other drives. Actually, I've not used it yet, but plan to with the Matsunchi portable drive, for movies, songs and photos, for my wireless tv's, tablets, laptops and possibly a smart phone.

Currently the Toshiiba wireless adapter, is one of the best deals on the net. Viva Newegg..

Other Thoughts: I bought these items because they were on sale for a decent price and I think they will come in handy. Unfortunately they are still on my 'things to do' shelf. I'll update if they don't work as expected.

Pros: Works well w. iPad and iPod touch. Source using external hard drive and usb stick- both accessed easily and speed good enough for streaming movies.

Cons: None really. A bit tricky to set up in mode that accesses Internet and Toshiba at same time.

Other Thoughts: Could have had better setup instructions. Got PDF from Toshiba site.
