Pros: Great build quality, metal case, feels solid. Love the on/off switch which also dims the activity light for you. Activity light actually blinks with activity, not just a slow on-off like WD and some Seagate external drives. Transfer speeds are as expected for USB 2.0. Runs cool and quiet. Dropped 1.1TB of data on it the first day with no struggles. 3-Year warranty.
Cons: None at this time.
Other Thoughts: Normally a Segate lover, but recently had a 1TB external Segate drive die on me after a year of very light use, luckly, Segate has the best warranty - 5years. Western digital external drives look cheap plastic or only have a 1 year warranty (unless you pay more for a longer warranty). Deffinatly would recommend this drive to a friend.

Pros: Everything is fine. The case is small and nice. Even though it is 5400 rpm, I don't feel that it is slower than other 7400 rpm external hard drive.
Cons: Maybe good to have SATA and 7400 rpm. But with this price, I think I am satisfied.

Pros: A very large drive which is, so far reliable.
Cons: The auto-sleep feature cannot be disabled/turned off. If you want your drive to stay active while you're using it, you have no choice but to forcefully cause activity on the drive every <5 minutes, or the thing goes back to sleep and takes 5-10 seconds to wake up again.
