Pros: it worked normally till failed

Cons: it failed in under a year.

Other Thoughts: thought it was a seagate drive.....but...not. it was made in the samsung factory.

Pros: Quiet

Cons: Failed after less than a year of normal use.

Other Thoughts: Thanks Seagate for ruining Samsung's once awesome drives. You guys should look back at the blueprints for the Samsung F1 drives and start producing them again because the entire Seagate line of drives are junk.

Pros: Worked great an silent when it worked

Cons: Died at about the same age as everyone else is complaining about. Samsung USED to have great long lasting drives... not any longer it seems.

Other Thoughts: As I switch to ssd I remember the company who'd drives didn't make the long haul... Other Samsung product I have are croaking earlier as well... what happened to the quality at Samsung? $3000 samsung bigscreen kaput (not bulb that was at 1 year) after 2 and a half years as well.

Pros: Purchased back in 2010. I'm about to build a new rig and wanted to say how much this Hard Drive has been through and never quit. Great drive.

Cons: None!

Pros: 3 years and still going

Cons: Pretty sure I paid less than the asking price now.

Pros: Long lasting through tough use over the years.
Fast read/write speeds (> 100 mb/s)

Cons: Not make my breakfast.

Other Thoughts: I would buy multiple of these again.

Pros: Price, quite

Cons: Bought three of these and they have all failed. Getting random errors so try to do fresh install of OS and they won't reload the OS.

Pros: Quiet

Cons: Does Not Last. Two drives and two failures.

Other Thoughts: Bought one of these for a backup drive. Third time I went to backup the drive failed. Received a second drive from Seagate. This one failed the second time I tried to backup. Very disappointed with the quality of these drives since Seagate has taken over.

Pros: Now, i thought it was faulty just last month but it was my SATA cable's fault!

Cons: Does it come with adhesive tape? no? oh well!

Pros: Fast. Quiet. Worked well for a while.

Cons: Died after a year and a half. The scan showed that it was still healthy but my operating system kept getting corrupted even after fresh installs. I placed a new hard drive in the computer and it hasn't had a problem since so I'm pretty sure this one went bad.
