Other Thoughts: Simply the best for its intended use. Quiet, cool, and everybody that see's it claims it matches their crackberries... I do not find this drive slow, only the interface being USB. Don't forget to make adjustment in Device Manager for speed rather than quick removal, and it will maintain 26/30 mb/sec, depending on the laptop its used upon. I think NewEgg was testing me on My non DOA Sammie run...this thing arrived during the last shell shocker in a padded envelope thrown around by UPS like a Futeball, all black and dirty, and it STILL worked...OK NewEgg, you didn't break my record yet, and I hope you don't. Pros: Small, compact product - the size of a BlackBerry.
Goes with me where ever I go - meaning the files I need are quickly accessible.
Standard USB transfer rate - perfect for what I use the device for, mainly media and work files.
Dissipates heat well - even during prolonged use, the device is slightly warm on the bottom.
Overall construction is sturdy and solid with a great sleek finish - the included case provides added protection.
Cons: Seriously, none that I can think of. Maybe since I use it with a Mac, the provided software (namely the security software) is not applicable to me. Security and password protection is important to me, but not a star down because the lack of such protection seems prevalent in most external devices.
Other Thoughts: It's obviously always beneficial to transact with Newegg. Great customer service, simple shopping experience, and of course, superior shipping. Also got a great deal with one of their daily sales. Thanks!

Pros: I received the product that I ordered as Samsung HD 640GB. I got it but its only 600GB of capacity, and on product box says its 640GB HD. I dont know what is it, company mistake or something else is going on...

Other Thoughts: I cannot believe some people and their reviews. Last review of 2 eggs because the software didn't support win x64??? Are you kidding me?? You didn't pay for the software it's just a bonus feature that most people delete when they re format. This is an excellent drive and to reduce the review to 2 eggs for not having 640 gigs after formatting or software blah blah blah is just plain stupid people!! RRRRRR~!!
