The speeds are excellent, and LaCie Backup Assistant works perfectly for backing up and retrieving data. Cons: A little on the heavy side. I love being able to use esata and usb3.0 on my pc. Cons: USB3.0 does not stay connected to my pc. I'm stuck using a USB2.0 cable to use this hard drive on my brand new ASUS laptop.
