5 out of 5 eggsExcellent

Comments: This was one of the easiest things to set up that I have run accross. Plug it in to the network, plug it into the wall, run the installation software and you're ready to go. I love being able to access the same information from any computer in the house and not have the other computers turned on. Excellent product

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Great

Comments: Bought this over a week ago from Newegg and it arrived in 3 days from cali to MI. The drive works great, plugged into a wireless router for easy access to the laptop. Just a quick software install so the computer recognizes it (which is nice). The transfer speed of course over wireless 802.11b is a little slow, but quick enough to play some mp3's flawlessly. Works just like another hard drive in the computer. It was advertised as a 2mb buffer and actually has an 8mb buffer.

4 out of 5 eggsTricky with OS X, but worth it.

Comments: This drive comes formatted NTFS, so Macs can only access it read only. You have to open Disk Utility, delete the partition, and reformat it FAT32, HFS+, or UFS for read/write. The documentation only says you need a "Third-party utility" to format it for OS X or Linux. They could do a better job of that. Other than this glaring omission from the docs, it's a solid little box, which now keeps all of that music off of my Powerbook. A great deal.

5 out of 5 eggs

Comments: I've been using this product since October 2003 and am very pleased with my purchase. I have the Netdisk plugged into my wireless router so that I can easily access it from all of my computers (they even have a beta driver for a ppc2003 device). When I purchased the Netdisk in October, they didn't have the multiwrite drivers, but have since released them for Windows XP/2000. Although I didn't purchase this drive from Newegg (they didn't sell it at that time), I buy everything I can from them now. Newegg has excellent prices, fast (and often free) shipping and unbeatable service.
