The Gigabit Ethernet connection enables fast access from anywhere. All you need is an internet connection and a web browser. So quit spending the time to load movies and videos onto your notebook's hard drive. Just log in and watch them.

The included Memeo AutoBackup software makes data security easy. Smart-Picks let you select individual files or file types across directories or in specific folders to back up. 5 out of 5 eggsGood performance

Pros: Very nice drive. Easy setup (via web interface) Two USB ports for future expansion.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: This drive replaced the LACIE 301156U which died after ten months of light use. Two thumbs up to Newegg for sending a replacement.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Solution

Pros: Networks great, sets up easily and found easily with included programs - I highly recommend this solution for small offices and/or homes, especially for backing up multiple desktops or even offsite backups

Cons: Navigating internally and configuring security was a little tricky. It can be done but I recommend the manufacturer get feedback from end users to ease the average less technical users access to securing files and folders

5 out of 5 eggsPretty good

Pros: Fast. Easy to hook up. Not much bigger than a external HD. Works with Vista 64. Transfered 200 gig which had music and picuters from a ESATA to this and it took about 2.5 hrs. That's not to bad.

Cons: NO WEB ACCESS only FTP access. Once you change the name of the devise the soft ware will not recognize it. The storage is still recognized through the network though. Of coarse this could be something I'm doing wrong.

Other Thoughts: I bought it thinking it was the one with web access like the other reviews said. That's my fault for not doing more research. The main reason I got it was to get access to a storage from my xp laptop and my vista 64 desktop. Since it's network there is no issues. I haven't used the back up software yet. The FTP still is a nice touch. This is fast too. I can access it and it acts just like a HD. Pretty cool. All in all I'm happy with it. It does what it's suppose to I'm not going to knock eggs off for my stupidity of not doing the research correctly.

5 out of 5 eggsChingow!

Pros: This was to easy to setup. Fast data transfer, can't hear it run and stays cool even after sucking up 640 GB of data. I need more of these. The web access thing is pretty cool. Managed 1TB NAS for under $400 is way cool. =8^)

Cons: Memeo software included in package is just OK. I'll stick with Norton Ghost 14 for backing up computer to it.

Other Thoughts: I'm going to get another one and use it in place of my other 320 GB USB drive for traveling. It is smaller, lighter and faster.

5 out of 5 eggsWahoo!

Pros: Everything works wonderful! Easy setup, easy connection from anywhere in the world. I love it.

Cons: I don't have any issues with this product.

Other Thoughts: I have used this at work to listen to music from home, as a print server for the house, using a media extender to watch videos on the tv, storing pictures so family from around the US can see them. I even used the buffalonas website to listen to music from my Wii.
