iSCSI Support With the iSCSI support, the BUFFALO TeraStation III iSCSI Rackmount utilizes existing Ethernet infrastructure to process SCSI storage commands to enable location-independent data storage and retrieval. Thus you can access the remote storage device with the illusion of locally-attached disks, regardless of the actual location of the devices-in the next room or on another continent. Up to 32 logical volumes support ensures flexible and high-efficiency capacity management. Intuitive web interface enables easy setup wizard and management.
Dual Gigabit Ethernet Ports Two Gigabit Ethernet ports, with support for Jumbo Frame and port trunking, deliver substantial bandwidth for bottleneck-free data transfer, maximum configuration flexibility and optimized efficiency.
Sophisticated Design Hot swap hard drive trays behind the front panel allows easy drive access and replacement. Advanced ventilation design reduces internal heat while large quiet fan cools hard drive efficiently. LCD Display shows important TeraStation information and disk status.
RAID Support Five operating RAID modes including RAID 0, 1, 5, 10, Normal ensure data integrity while the advanced RAID system continually checks hard drive and RAID performance. Hot spare enables automatic RAID rebuilding in case of a hard drive failure.
