Cons: Stability seems to be an issue, the drive causes hang ups during file transfers and video file playback. Came with a ghost folder that reappears with every boot despite a reformat. Also came in FAT32 format which needed to be changed to NTFS to accomodate > 4GB files. Other Thoughts: Functionality is at 65% I'd say. Not quite DoA but still unusable, unless one has use for an external drive that hangs up every few hours. Esata works, but again having the hang up issue is a big downer with what could have been an excellent product. 0 out of 3 people found this review helpful. Did you? Cons: Disk spins very loudly, almost like having a small fan spinning on the desk. Other Thoughts: Very happy with the item, good product, haven't had any problems yet, I use it primarily as a storage and backup drive, but even with prolonged use, the drive stays moderately cool. It works well and is substantially faster and quieter than the old 250GB external drive it replaced. Cons: External drives aren't terribly fast as a rule, but this one certainly does the job.
