With USB 3.0 support and backward compatibility with USB 2.0, DriveStation Duo USB 3.0 works with almost any PC or Mac computer and provides interface speeds up to 5Gbps. Equipped with NovaBACKUP Business Essentials software, DriveStation Duo USB 3.0 can back up any PC including Windows Servers and Exchange and SQL datastores. Plus, user replaceable hard drives offer easy maintenance with no tools required.

Flexible Storage and Redundancy DriveStation Duo USB 3.0 includes two easily accessible hard drives for convenient maintenance with the choice of optimal capacity, performance or redundancy. RAID 0 offers optimal performance and capacity by evenly storing data across both hard drives with zero redundancy. RAID 1 automatically creates an exact copy on the second hard drive, protecting your data from hard drive failure.
SuperSpeed USB 3.0 SuperSpeed USB 3.0 delivers up to 5Gbps bandwidth which is around 10 times the bandwidth of the current USB 2.0, allowing for ultra-fast transfers of high definition movies and videos, as well as various other large capacity file formats. Buffalo DriveStation Duo USB 3.0 is also backward compatible with USB 2.0 enabled desktop computers and notebooks.

Tech support said yes. Asked for documentation to support that, they didn't have any. Fan was just not working. Had to send it back after loading all my data. This drive was to replace another Buffalo drive that had a fan failure. Cons: FAN DOA, Tech support lied. 1 out of 4 people found this review helpful. Did you? I added a USB 3.0 card to my rig and hooked this up. The raid set up software works without flaw, the drive is cool, quiet, and looks great. I'm using it to capture video and set it up with Raid 0. I'll get a second and set that one with Raid 1 to store the captures. Cons: None Other Thoughts: Be sure to reformat to NTFS.
