Easy web access lets you log in remotely while on vacation or a business trip. Buffalo has their own Web Access portal so you do not have to go with a third party provider.

The Memeo AutoBackup Software offers automatic backup for your PCs and Macs. Supporting RAID 0, 1 and JBOD, the LinkStation Duo gives you the choice of redundancy or speed and capacity. The BitTorrent Client feature allows you to download internet contents directly to this network storage device for maximum time- and power-efficiency.

This Digital Living Network Alliance certified product is designed to work with other DLNA products. This makes it easy to stream media to your computer or your home theater system. The LinkStation Duo will be the cornerstone of your Digital Home.

Have a lot of photo's and information I was just asking to lose. Came with Barracuda SATA drives. The entire thing is hardly larger than the two hard drives side by side. Interface is really responsive using Firefox. Quite pleased. Looked unused and "smelled" new... love it. Cons: Didn't have the USB cable, only the ethernet. Went to Best Buy and they didn't have the male to male cable either. No documentation. Had to figure out the IP address it took by using my router lan stats. Other Thoughts: When switching to Raid 1, it took hours and hours for it to finish checking itself. Ended up going to bed and it was done in the morning. 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful. Other Thoughts: I was looking to get two 1TB drives, but found this refurbished for $.01 more, It shipped with Samsung drives in it (I have had good experience with Samsung) It was raid 0, it was easy to change to raid 1.
