Pros: Unboxing package from Newegg.com, I must say I think they are trying to spoil me. I ordered standard free shipping one day and got it the next day, now that is what I call prompt service. Thank you Newegg.

In all this has been a great experience and on a scale of 0 being the worse and 10 being the best my ratings are as followed.

I took off 1 point on product package because the box looked like it had been slightly crushed, but this could have been done by U.S. Mail service.

Cons: Box was slightly dented.

Pros: Runs cool, was detected by Win7 x64 immediately, hasn't done anything strange in 6 months of continuous use as a movie and TV storage drive. Streams HD movies throughout my network without a hitch. 5400 RPM doesn't hold back the SATA speed at all -2TB movies transfer in less than a minute. Price is not bad for such a versatile 1TB drive.

Other Thoughts: Got it for a laptop but realized its size was better suited to media storage when my other hard drive started filling up. Best decision I could have made as it transfers large files quickly and plays movies and TV shows in full HD with any media player I choose.

Pros: Fast and quiet enough for my needs.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Installed into an old Seagate enclosure with FireWire 800. Added a ton of storage to my 2009 Mac Mini being used as a media server. Copied a 30GB mkv in about 7 minutes. Allows playback of 1080p movies without stuttering.

Pros: Quite

Cons: Drive was slow, MBP Seemed to drop battery faster with this drive installed.

Other Thoughts: With regards to my Cons... Keep in mind that this drive completely died on me after 2 weeks of extreme light use, possibly 16 hours total and I seriously think that's pushing it. Even though the drive went down hill in a days period, it may have been a faulty drive from the get go which may account for the slight battery drainage and slow-poor performance. Not sure if I'll try another or go with a WD.

Speed as expected

Cons: Real hard sell from NewEgg about the extended warranty

Other Thoughts: It's a 5400RPM drive, so the speed isn't great, but in this case capacity was more important to me.
I know hard drives are some of the most likely components to fail, but extended warranties just aren't worth the cost. It's unusual for NewEgg to follow up and e-mail to offer the extended warranty after purchase. My response to them that it was not worth it got the "We really don't want you as a customer" attitude that I get in retail stores.

Pros: Installed into my PS3, now to have a ton of space. it's be a long time before i fill this up, i wish i done this from the start.

Cons: None so far

Pros: Cheap and OK.

Cons: Device must me fixed. do not shake even after done with writing.

Pros: Speed over stock MBP HDD 1.5 GBPS -> 3 GBPS plus an additional 750GB for wayyy less than Apple prices.

Easy upgrade simple to do works like a charm.

Cons: Not really any...block copying the original HDD took a while but that's not this product's fault.

Pros: High capacity, small form factor, low price.

Cons: Failed after one month of use. Woke up one morning to hear the alarm on my RAID array, and saw this drive was the culprit. Ejected it and re-inserted it (in case of a false alarm), and seven minutes into the rebuild it failed again. Given that I purchased it on 9 October, and it is now 9 November, it's outside of newegg's return policy. I'm trying now to get in contact with seagate to get a replacement.
