Cons: First drive was almost 2/3 bad sectors and impossible to write vaild data onto. Second drive was only about 1/4 bad sectors grouped at the front half of the drive so I partitioned it off that half and it works (at less than half capacity). I would have RMA'd the second one but the cost of shipping back was almost the purchase price and the next one probably wouldn't have been in any better condition... Cons: I have purchased four Refurbished Hard Drives during the past year and only one was usable. Three couldn't be recognized by the OS, nor the configuration utility. Ref these item#: 22-144-521 160GBMXTA100(Purchased01-30-2012); 22-136-292 80G\|WDATA100(Purchased 11-23-2012); 22-178-281 160G\|ST ATA100(Purchased 11-23-2012: Other Thoughts: The items purchased 11-23-2012 are still under warranty and I am requesting a RMA for replacements.
