Question 1

Someone please help! I purchased this and none of my SATA cables will fit. Can someone link me to the specific type of SATA cable that fits? I tried (OKGEAR 18" SATA 6 Gbps Cable, Straight to Left Angle W/ Metal Latch, Black, Backward Compatible 3 Gbps and 1.5 Gbps) this one and it does not fit. I am so confused, help!

Hi there!  This is a SAS drive, not a conventional SATA drive. This drive is geared more toward business use rather than consumer level builds. These drives typically slot into a backplane  that holds several units, usually configured in RAID arrays. If this is a personal computer for which it is intended, you may want to return it and purchase a SATA drive.

Question 2

Can someone link me the specific SATA Cable you're supposed to use with this? My regular SATA cables are not fitting! Thank you!

There are only three sata cable connectors I am aware of, SATA Power, SATA DATA, and eSATA they are keyed to not be inserted upside down, be careful I have seen an experienced tech try and force connection and ruin a hard drive. Perhaps the cable you have is damaged.

Question 3

The description says a 5-year limited warranty, but the warranty tab says 1 year. Can you explain where the difference is?

Refurbished units are generally lower in price.

Do you have 20 in stock? Is this covered by the 5 year seagate warranty? Do you have a manufacturer date code on the hard drive?
