Pros: 3TB Drive. 1 Gbps ethernet. 100mps will significantly slow down transfer speed. 100mps Transfer speed around 8 MB/s, 1 Gbps = 33Mb/s Remote Files Intergrates with AmazonS3 Low Power usage. Media Sharing Cons: No 2nd hard drive option for redundancy Must be manually sync with another drive. Limited interface options. ie, remote security has to use port 443. Uverse uses port 443 to send updates to wireless receivers. The uverse router can temporarily be changed, but at ATT's discretion the router can be rebooted, and 443 is set back to the default Other Thoughts: There is 1 other review, which I feel is unfair, since Someone read a poor review on another site, and used that as basis for review. You sort of get what you pay for. The setup is marginally more expensive than the bare drive. I did not expect a lot, but this is more than good enough to store my movies, pictures, and old documents. I also have an external backup drive to backup what is on the NAS. Pros: There were no reviews for this item on Newegg, so I checked reviews on another site, which I'm not allowed to mention by name. The reviews there were very poor, especially with respect to Iomega's support. Recommend doing research before buying.
