Pros: I got a really good price deal on this. I needed a large external drive to unload my 5 year old windows home server because the green drives in that build are failing. Got this for the price of what I paid for a single 2 tb drive 5 years ago.

Cons: None works very nice

Other Thoughts: Crystal Disk Info shows the internal drive to be a Seagate ST 5000 M00-1FK178. I use this for archiving so it stays asleep mostly which should help it to last a while.

Pros: Fast and Quiet. I just transferred 3 terrabytes of tv shows and movies as a consistent usb 3.0 rate of 133 mb/sec. I own 6 other external drives and this is the fastest.

Cons: I waited to buy a second and now they are $20 more.
