Super handy Looks nice Doesn't get that at the end 5sec freeze up Cons: Some people might not like the cable length if you don't have a dock. Not the fastest if using as USB 2 drive Egg off for speed Other Thoughts: I will update my review once i get my computer with usb 3.0 is built. No drivers are out for this drive yet. In my update Ill open it up and see if ADATA uses a third party hard drive cause to me they are new at hard drives in a sense. I've been backing up stuff since the other day and USB 2 I can only manage to get 20-50MB/s With small size files and movies stay around 40-50MB/s As Soon as I got the drive it comes pre formatted with FAT so I reformatted to NTFS. Spendous 4/27/2011 4:42:21 AM Tech Level: 4/5 Ownership: 2/5 Verified Owner	Rating: 5/5Super Speed USB 3.0 Pros: I was looking for a simple backup solution that was small enough that I could put it in my fire safe. I originally purchased a Western Digital Passport, thinking that it would do the trick, but I was not very happy with the bloatware that was installed in the firmware of the drive. What I love about this drive is that it really is just a simple plug and play 500GB hard drive. I also love the fact that the included USB 3.0 cable not only transfers the data but is the power source. It is great that it is backwards compatible with my USB 2.0 ports too. It has a blue LED light that flashes when data is transferring but solid when at rest. The best thing about this drive is that the transfer speeds are super speedy! I transferred a 3GB file onto the drive in 49.3 seconds! And when I moved the 3GB file from the drive to my desktop it took 19.1 seconds!!! Yes, I am very pleased with this purchase Cons: None - only that I wish that Newegg carried the 1TB version of this drive. Other Thoughts: I have an ASRock X58 Extreme6 motherboard - which has 4 USB 3.0 on the back and 2 USB 3.0 for the front panel. I found that I had to change the advanced power settings in control panel in order for the drive to have enough juice to work. Basically I just changed the USB settings from 'USB selective suspend setting Enabled' to 'Disabled'.
