Unlimited Sharing. With online and cloud storage providers, the more you store, the more you pay, and most have restrictions on the size and type of files you can store. With Transporter, you pay one time and can share thousands of files of any size or type with anyone.

Always Protected. Getting copies of files offsite continues to be a challenge for consumers and small businesses alike. Using external drives requires you to copy to the drive and then physically take it offsite. Online and cloud services can easily take months to copy or restore files. With Transporter, a full copy of shared files is kept on each Transporter and changes to any files are automatically reflected on other Transporter devices.

Anywhere Access. We've all been in situations where we needed to access a file remotely. All files stored on Transporter are available anywhere in the world from any computer or mobile device that has access to the Internet. You can also set up your Transporter to keep a copy of specific files on your computer so they're available even when you're offline.

100% Private. Because Transporter is a device you own and control, all your data is stored directly on the Transporter and is only shared with people you specify. Shared data is transferred directly between Transporter devices and computers of people you authorize and is never stored online. Transfers between Transporter devices are always encrypted during transit.

No Fees. Ever. With Transporter, you know exactly what it costs right up front so you'll never be surprised with monthly fees.

Dead Simple. Best of all, using Transporter is as easy as sending an invite to the people you want to share. It couldn't be any simpler.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Device, easy to use and manage

Pros: The unit does exactly as advertised. Shares big files with anyone anywhere. the redundancy availability is fantastic. Your own personal cloud.

Cons: There was some difficulty getting the right ports open an working for this drive when we first had the system, but it was resolved before we wanted to share it with anyone outside the building so it worked out fine.

Other Thoughts: I have not ever experienced a BSOD from this system. so to those that have i am very sorry, but this thing is fantastic! Love it!

1 out of 5 eggsDoesn't work with Win-7 Pro (yet)

Pros: none

Cons: Advertised as working with Win-7 but when it kept crashing my system (BSOD), the tech told me it didn't work with Win-7 Pro, and I should wait for Transporter 2.0 fw/sw. There is no official release date. yet.

1 out of 5 eggsLooks slick, but doesn't quite work for me

Pros: Interface seems quite slick

Cons: Causes BSOD (Blue Screen Of Death) whenever I copy files to a connected folder. Have not heard back from support, yet, but, I'll give them a day more.
Would be a better feature, if you could select an already existing folder and replicate/copy it to a connected folder. Instead, it seems like you must create a connected folder that then keeps a local copy on your machine (if enabled), then you have to copy the existing files over to it. For an already existing file infrastructure, this seems not what I expected. But, it hasn't really worked for me to see, other than causing BSOD.

Other Thoughts: system: Win7/64bit
