Pros: Cheap

Cons: DOA, Never got to try. Soon as put in machine instant clicking and failed to initialize. I now have to spend more on shipping then what it is worth. Should have went with non-refurbished. I wish there was an option for 0 stars!

Other Thoughts: Read the comments and don't think or take a risk thinking you might be lucky and get one the first time that works.. Chances are you will not.

5 out of 5 eggscool drive runs smooth

Pros: No click of death nice smooth running drive. Works great as an USB external. Big enough for most of my files. Pretty dang fast and quiet. Cheap.

Cons: Refurb.

Other Thoughts: Would gladly put this into an older pc as a boot drive or in as a storage drive. Also great in an enclosure as it runs cool.

Pros: Price is GREAT. Bought ten of these four months ago. Put in ten different computers and all ten have worked great. No issues! Getting ready to buy ten more!

Pros: Cheap

Cons: Unreliable. Just buy newer, better drives. The price difference isn't worth it.

Other Thoughts: bad sectors. In a RAID0 setup, had random reboots and startup reboot loops, and BSOD's, inconsistent errors. Very difficult to tell it was one of the raid members. Happened to these 2 drives, and another 2 from another online retailer

Pros: Update to 31/12/13
Still working great. Just love the software that allowed me to keep all my programs and printers.Will prob update after a year if all is good.

Cons: Working with less warranty and the price differential between referb and new almost non-existant.

Pros: It works fine this time and no hiccups so far.

Cons: Had to return the first one.

Other Thoughts: I am updating my previous 1 star review it's hard not to be bummed when something you purchase doesn't work. However, it happens and it is what happens next that will determine your satisfaction. RMA through Newegg got me a replacement so no harm done just hope it keeps working.

Pros: Price, seemed like a deal at the time.

Cons: DOA, no quality control on the WD refurbished drives. Still waiting on the replacement.

Other Thoughts: Thought I got a deal but all I bought was the aggravation of having to return a dead drive. For $20 more I could have bought new and twice the size. I should have paid attention to the previous reviews, my bad.
