Other Thoughts: It was this or a solid state drive with half the capacity. My son has a WD Blue 500 GB in his gaming rig and has had no issues, so I went with the conservative choice, with the thought that I can always upgrade to a ssd in the future. It wouldn't be a computer without that neat clicking, chirping sound a hard drive makes.

Pros: best storage drive I have ever owned even out performs the wd black ed I have. wd makes great drives I still have one I bought from newegg in 2004 thats still works great

Pros: This was a very affordable Hard Drive. Upgrade my computers storage. I also have a Samsung 250 GB SSD which I have switched out for this larger capacity Hard Drive. To be very honest, I can't see a great difference in the speed of the SSD over this SATA Drive. I'm sure there is a speed difference, I'm just saying for my purposes this Hard Drive is just as good. Highly recommended.
