Pros: 2GB
Can fit all my Steam library on one drive.

Cons: I wish they would start designing the gaming laptops to accommodate 15 mm in their bays

Other Thoughts: I managed to get this in my Alienware m18xr1 in the cdrom bay with one of those converter things. Had to mod it a bit, plus I used slices of electrical tape to make spacing for the pressure holes.

Pros: We bought these and enclosures/controlers/bays for our HP DL series servers.

Perfect, we now have 18 running within two bays.

VMWARE 5.1 has two 12TB data stores with raid 5.

Cons: These are not fast, they are also not going to fit into a notebook. But they fit perfectly in the HP drive enclosures.

Other Thoughts: Please people... Stop docking eggs because it won't fit in your laptop. Newegg clearly says in description that its 15mm and won't fit in most laptops. It's not the product's fault and therefore shouldn't affect rating.

Other Thoughts: Newegg should really remove "Internal Notebook Hard Drive" from the title. It will NOT fit in a standard notebook.

Pros: 2TB on a 2.5" drive!

Cons: Never intended for laptops. This is western digital saying this, not me. Newegg, please remove the notebook reference from description.

Other Thoughts: I have one of these I bought elsewhere when they first came out as newegg didn't have stock yet.

I have it in my home server and it works wonderfully.

I wanted a second one but too short on funds this month. Hopefully next month most likely here at the egg. Will get the extended warranty for sure as this is new and unproven. Do yourself a favor and pay for the egg's extended warranty. They are way better than manufacturer warranty by far.

Just wish newegg would offer a 2-year or more extended warranty.

Pros: Lots of space, quiet, cool.

Cons: Height, relatively slow, but im using it as a storage drive so its no big deal.

Other Thoughts: in case you all are wondering, i know i was, this drive fits inside a Clevo P370em in the ODD Bay using a HDD Caddy, barely fits but it goes in.

Pros: Great storage size

Cons: This drive IS NOT a standard size 2.5" drive.

Other Thoughts: Despite being sold as a "notebook" drive, this is easily twice as thick as every other "notebook"drive. It will not fit in ANY of my laptops, it will not fit in ANY of my external 2.5in enclosures. In fact, I cannot find ANY external enclosure online that appears will fit this drive. If you are looking for a large hard drive for your laptop, look elsewhere. This one is "too good to be true," and will not fit. I don't know what sort of device this drive is intended for, but it certainly doesn't fit any laptop I've ever seen. Waste of my hard-earned money.

Pros: Highest capacity mechanical 2.5" drive I could find with a decent price point and low power draw. Quiet.

Cons: Drive is clearly marked as 15mm tall; I knew this, but you need to know this if you plan on installing inside of any chassis or tray.

Other Thoughts: Great for small spaces and large capacity, low poser draw, quiet storage. Not going to win any races, but does exactly the job I needed it for: small footprint in M-ITX chassis, low power draw, low noise, plenty of space. Price point seems slightly artificially high (could probably sell for $30 less and move many more). I am guessing this drive marks the end of an era.

Pros: Great drive, except for the physical size.

Cons: Much too thick to fit into almost any laptop!

Other Thoughts: Unfortunately, I just saw the title saying "for Notebook" when I looked at this product, and missed the reviews section. If I had, I would have realized that the drive is far too thick to fit into pretty much any existing laptop (I tried it in several). Of course, that's my own fault for not noticing in the reviews. Unfortunately, it didn't fit into my one portable enclosure either, so I had to send it back to Newegg. They processed the RMA quickly and effectively. Other than the size problem, it would have been a perfect unit for my current needs and price-point.

Pros: My Toshiba P500 laptop has 2 of these 2gb drives inside & is running just fine. The covers needed some extra washers & longer screws but they don't stick out that much. I would have put in an extra gasket for a seal but can't find suitable material to make one.

Cons: My backups (2 x 2GB) are taking longer ( 2 x overnight)

Other Thoughts: waitins g for same size 4gb drives at 7200rpm with same power requirements (yes I have lots of pictures).
