Pros: Looks really nice and has some nice specifications.
Expandable memory, easy to swap drives, faster Intel processor, dual NIC's (with channel bonding) and several other things.

Can be used at home, but is designed for a small business.

Cons: Received defective device.
Bay 2 was DOA, so I was not able to fully test the unit.
1st RMA was wrong replacement.
2nd RMA was also wrong.

Other Thoughts: I received this unit as a free review unit, and was really excited.
When I found that bay 2 was not working, I contacted newegg first, and since it is a review item, they can not warranty it. They told me that these items are normally not covered under the manufactures warranty either, but that I was free to try.
I logged into WD site and entered the serial number and was surprised to see it did come with a 30 day warranty, so I applied for the RMA. Received a RMA and shipping label and sent it off. A week later I get a box from them, but it has the wrong unit in it (it was a EX2100, not DL2100). I contacted WD again and they apologized and sent me another RMA label.
At this point I was really impressed with WD customer service, they had gone well above and beyond for a product I did not even pay for.
Well, today, I get the replacement box and open it up to find another EX2100. SO twice they send me the wrong replacement unit. Free or not, that is a major goof. I have contacted WD and told them I am done with this since this is a review unit that I did not pay for. These are heavy units (around 10 lbs) so I know to continue paying shipping both ways and messing with this is just not worth it for me.
I can not review the DL2100 since I did not receive a working unit.
I am not sure if I will do a review of the EX2100 or just give it to my brother who said he needs a larger NAS.
