Pros: Small, sleek and very portable

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Love this 3 TB drive. as small as a wallet and very portable. Great for keeping large files or what ever you want afterall 3TB is bigger than many desktops.

Pros: The problem reported previous was tracked to a bad USB Hub
Recanting my post "Non Functional Out-of-box"

Transferred 12G data without any errors.

Cons: My mistake. Should have checked the USB Hub.

Pros: It arrived undamaged.

Cons: Does not work as expected.
Under Linux Ubuntu 14.04 mkfs ran and creats a file system. However the OS log file syslog was full of errors regarding the drive.
After mounting the drive and copying data to it, more OS reported errors
Tried using a different USB 3.0 cable that is known to work. No better.
Requested and RMA

Other Thoughts: I've had good luck with other WD drives, both internal and external. I must have gotten a dud.
