Tech Level: high - Ownership: more than 1 year

Pros: Sweet drives, have 3 in a RAID 5. ~2 years uptime right now, never had a problem.

Cons: Other than the obvious, cost, none.

Other Thoughts: I have 3 empty slots awaiting more of these drives..

Tech Level: high - Ownership: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: We use these drives for our call managers. We have 4 per CM and are running them in raid 5 (despite the slight performance hit with so few drives) and this thing still screams. We have these running in Camp Fallujah right now, and they are able to handle the heat of our poorly AC'd server room. (around 115 F ambient during the summer)

Cons: None, the Marine Corp pays for them, and we run them.

Other Thoughts: I'm trying to get the Marine Corp to upgrade our Exchange Servers to these, because of their high IO ability. Highly recommended for the high demand systems doing a lot of IO operations.
