Pros: -read the description; fireproof, water proof
-SATA II with great transfer rates
-eliminates the need for offsite storage since it is disaster proof
-reasonable size form factor for the level of protection
-great price considering all the great features

Cons: This might be our issue. Our Dell PowerEdge T110 has a PERC RAID card and the existing eSATA port wouldn't talk to the SoloPro (I'm guessing because it wants all hard drives to be incorporated into some form of RAID). I purchased a StarTech PEXESAT32 from Newegg. It was an easy install and they started transferring right away. I did need to buy a cheap accessory to make it work. It isn't SATA III, but it would need to be solid state for that to really matter anyways.

Other Thoughts: I am happy with this product and would definitely recommend it. We run our incremental backups to it and it reads and writes so much faster than our old USB3 drive it would make your head spin. One more bottleneck is eliminated by using this. With what we were spending monthly in offsite storage, this will save it's own cost in no time. I highly recommend it.
