1 out of 5 eggsYou Get What You Pay For

Pros: Worked great and easy to setup. Bought 2 of these. Have one in the building & have daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly backups running to it. The other was setup as FTP at bosses house & backed up the same as the local one but over FTP & worked great and easy to setup.

Cons: After 1 year the one at my bosses house started losing connection & needed to be restarted to see it again, then finally it will not connect anymore. At that point the local one started losing connection as well & needs to restart for it to be recognized again.

Other Thoughts: You get what you pay for... You are better off paying more for a better quality. This is just not reliable at all. I actually purchased both from different stores and both have issues.

4 out of 5 eggsThank you Lenovo, may I have another!

Pros: Moderately easy to set up and very easy to operate - hardly remember it's there. Can set up with multiple users and 'shares' (folders) each with individual permissions. We use a 2TB version at our church. I purchased it as we were having issues with sharing and saving documents and data - email and dropbox wasn't working. This did. I have folders that only church admin can access, folders only ministries can access and folders available to the public! It really was a VERY inexpensive answer to many issues we were having.

Cons: The internal interface works as a network location for all devices. When accessing it from a different location/network, it must be accessed via web browser.
We did not know the device came with a security certificate. We lost it. Because it was purchased as an Iomega product just before Lenovo took over, we couldn't get it replaced.

Other Thoughts: I'm here to get another for all the reasons cited above!!!

1 out of 5 eggsAvoid

Pros: Looks cool - but then so does my key chain.

Cons: Started getting glitchy out of the box. Cloud difficult to setr up - requires some router tinkering. Died four days after I put some data from my old server on it. I would give this no stars if I could because all it did was waste my time.

Other Thoughts: Shoddy product from Iomega with a Lenovo badge.
