Pros: These things are the bomb. I use almost daily in computer repair business. No shop should be without a couple of these!!! Easy to use. Built in power switch is a nice touch.
Cons: NONE!!!
Other Thoughts: Comes with adapter to also use with laptop 2.5” drives :)

Pros: Works well on WD 3.5" IDE drives, simple to use.
Cons: Didn't work at first.
Other Thoughts: Quality assurance is not Koutech's first priority.
Mine came with the power switch disconnected. (I would have given it 5 eggs had it not been for this)
If yours doesn't seem to be getting any power... 1) Pry apart the case (it only snaps together) 2) Check wires going to the switch (it just plugs in) 3) Snap case back together and try it again.
Time from start to finish: about 3 min.
If this doesn't work, then ask for RMA.

Pros: Wall adapter power supply means no need to rely on usb for power. Never had any problems with it.
Cons: Kinda bulky, but no biggy. The power adapter is not permanently attached so someone less organized may lose it.
Other Thoughts: I much prefer this adapter to my previouse ones which used the USB ports for power. Sometimes the ports would not provide enough power for a hard drive and I couldn't tell if it was a dead hard drive, or just a lack of power from the port. With this adapter you don't have that problem!
