5 out of 5 eggsWorks

Pros: This is my first tablet, I'm a graphic designer and have been wanting to try one for a while and when I saw the bamboo on sale I thought I'd give it a try.

I like the texture of the tablet, it feels nice on my had. it's a reasonable size. I haven't had a nib go out yet, but I've noticed some ware on it already. I got a small baggie of replacements though.

Works great with Illustrator and Photoshop!

Doubles as a mouse with some cool gesture features!

Cons: The buttons on the pen, I still accidently push them which can be annoying.

Other Thoughts: Because I'm new it's probably just me, but I tend to rotate paper and such while drawing. But the tablet does not know its orientation so it takes a little hand eye coordination.

4 out of 5 eggsVery good

Pros: - The pinpoint software makes the pen even more useful instead of staying in mouse mode all the time (forcing you to continuously draw back and replace your pen on the upper right corner or so )
- Gets the job done
- Amazing price for beginners ( that's me, for art! )

Cons: - Way too short of a cord for today's size and position of USB inputs ( Some people have computers on the right side
- incapable of reversing the mapping
- no extra leds for the pen so you can get the pressure sensitivity better
- no way to replace led
- button placement irritating, middle-mouse button is already jammed in for me

Other Thoughts: The little flap on the end with the wacom logo can be used for the pen holder

5 out of 5 eggsTablet of the Starving Digital Artists.

Pros: Fantastic tablet for $70. You can draw and such and life is a party. I can't compare it to one's that are $200 or more, because that would be unfair and just silly.
I COULD compare it to my last wacom bamboo tablet I had for many years beforehand, which was almost twice as small and would constantly have connection issues with.
I think the amount of drawing space is snazzy.
The surface gives off a feeling like you are drawing on paper.

Cons: Cord is a tad short, but I'm not bleeding and the world will go on. So far, no other problems I have encountered. I wouldn't feed it after midnight.

Other Thoughts: Great for artists on a budget and ones that wish to dabble into digital art. Good for new and old artists.
If you purchase, plug the thing in before shoving the disc in. The disc box lies to you.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Smaller, portable - compared to a friend's which is much larger and in my opinion not worth the extra money. This is a perfect size.

Shipped fast!

First tablet, so I can't really speak volumes about the quality compared to other brands.

Cons: Button (RMB) on the side of the pen always gets bumped while I'm drawing and sometimes messes stuff up. Probably just a byproduct of the way I hold pens.

1 out of 5 eggsWorked well, for the first 3 hours I had it.

Pros: Nice tablet, that worked very well despite some lag here and there. Comes with neat software.

Cons: I got to use my tablet for 3 hours, and then had to go to work. When I got home, the thing was useless. I can't draw, write, or anything other than use it as a single-click mouse. This is because when I returned, for no reason my pen decided to ONLY right click when in applications. The pen works fine on the desktop, and will left click, however when I open up the Bamboo dock or Art Rage Studio, the pen will ONLY right click, rendering the entire thing useless. There have been little to no solutions online, and all my searches have turned up to be positive reviews and websites selling the tablet. Very frustrated and disappointed that I spent $80 something on a tablet that literally lasted me 3 hours.

3 out of 5 eggsI got nibbed

Pros: Decent size drawing area. Nice paper like feel. Good amount of pressure levels. Pen feels nice & comfortable.

Cons: Less than a week into using it we already have to replace one of the 3 nibs that come with it. Replacements are expensive. After experiencing this problem I checked online for similar issues with other people and sure enough, for some of the Wacom tablets, this is a major problem. We now have to try some of the "made up" solutions, that Wacom suggests, to try and increase the life of the pen nibs. Like taping a smooth piece of paper or plastic to the tablet?

Other Thoughts: This could be a really great 5 egg product if Wacom would get this nib situation with some of their tablet surfaces under control.

5 out of 5 eggsFun product, but I'm left-handed...

Pros: This is an extremely interesting and fun product to use. It comes with a dashboard that lets you install games and productivity software to use with it. This is the perfect size tablet for a leisure user or someone who's never used one before.

Cons: I've found the usb cable to be unreasonably short -- nothing a usb extension cable can't fix, but a short-coming of the product for sure (no pun intended). This is by no means a cause for a drop of an egg.

Other Thoughts: I'm left-handed. I originally purchased this product after seeing one of my co-workers use it instead of a mouse. I decided I'd try it for a week and either use it permanently or put it on the shelf and only pull it out for art projects. Since I'm so used to using a right-handed mouse, normal computer use is almost impossible for me being left-handed, and thus I retired it within the first day. Not the products fault, just thought I'd warn the unwary.

1 out of 5 eggsTERRIBLE DESIGN

Pros: never got to the pros

Cons: the pen cannot be calibrated to change the speed, rendering the tablet useless. the pen is auto calibrated to your monitor, so the larger your monitor the faster your pen willl move. I have a low-end tablet from over 10 years ago that allows you to change the speed of the pen just like you can do with your mouse on any PC. what gives?
