3 out of 5 eggsNot Such A Good Replacement

Pros: It works and does what its supposed to do, once you fix it.

Cons: Poorly manufactured and feels cheap.

Other Thoughts: I bought this to replace my original intuos3 pen that got lost on a trip. I thought wow, I can save like $20 on this, sounds like a great deal!

Not so much.

Let me say that once I fixed it, the pen worked the way it should, but the fact that I had to fix something that was brand new is a big problem.

When I got the pen the clicker was sticky and wouldn't register without really having to press down on the thing super hard. So I pulled the pen apart to see if I could do anything about it and found that the internal components weren't lined up correctly which was causing the problem.

Once I realigned the circuit board and used a few dabs of glue to keep it in place, things seemed to be working again without issues. But the fact remains, this pen is super cheapo feeling compared to the original and I wish I had just bought that instead honestly cuz this thing just feels like a piece of junk.

The fact that I need pliers or tweezers to remove the nubs is another things that doesn't sit well with me at all. Its a pain to get the nub out of the tip of the pen since you cant unscrew the tip to take it out and I really don't like that at all.

Overall the thing feels cheap and is cheap and not worth the money. Bite the bullet and just get the $60 one that's oem for this tablet and save yourself any potential trouble cuz this thing sucks and is a huge downgrade if you are use to using the original that feels better and works better all around.

4 out of 5 eggsFantastic so far

Pros: Does exactly what it is supposed to do. Windows and Linux compatible with tablet.

Cons: Gosh it's pricy for what it does.

5 out of 5 eggsMuch better!

Pros: I have really small hands, and this stylus is a significant improvement over the one that came with my Intuos 3. With the rubber gripped stylus, my hand and wrist would cramp up after about 30 minutes of use. Not only can I draw with the classic pen literally *all day* without painful cramping, but I found that my drawing has significantly improved since I can actually hold it properly.

Cons: None!

Other Thoughts: Do not let the lack of a rubber grip deter you if you find the original pen to be uncomfortable. Even without the rubber grip, I find this pen to be a vast improvement as far as comfort.
