4 out of 5 eggsSolid tablet

Pros: Alright, so this tablet is exactly what you want if you're wanting to move from a bamboo or the like onto something where you can draw on the screen itself.

I juggled with getting a Cintiq for a few years now, I considered some of the cheaper, off brand versions, both smaller and larger, and they all had deal breaking flaws. from the angle you could see the screen from, or the lack of an eraser.

The 13HD had none of that. I can see just fine even when i'm not RIGHT on top of it, and the pen is everything i've come to expect from a Wacom product.

Cons: The downside to this, and maybe all, cintiq tablet, is it's color display is pretty poor. It seems to require some tinkering with to get it looking like your monitor, but I have yet to be satisfied in that area.

Other Thoughts: I'm super upset that the shipping company Newegg went with decided to leave this on my doorstep without having me sign or even knocking on the door.

It really makes me not want to buy from them again.

4 out of 5 eggsIt works fine

Pros: Very crisp images.
No issues with the cable and I was worried about that as I've heard some people have issues with it.

Cons: Rocker ring sucks. The scroll wheel/touch strip on other Wacom products is vastly superior. Changing my brush size is a bit of a hassle now. But, I knew this when purchasing it and it's definitely not a deal breaker.
Occasionally I notice a bit of a jitter on my brush, very minimal. It happens only every now and then. Most likely a driver issue.

Other Thoughts: I work as an digital artist doing paintings and more flat style work. This product is my first Cintiq and I do not regret it one bit.
Be sure to buy a smudge guard glove to go with this!

2 out of 5 eggsA disappointing buy.

Pros: Beautifully clear and crystalline display.
Relatively sturdy (like all Wacom products from the last few years.) Should last for years if treated with care.

Cons: Suffers a crippling bug for many users on 64bit Windows 7/8 with all versions of Photoshop CS: A 'pressure sensitivity bug' where the stylus suddenly and randomly stops registering stylus opacity and flow settings. The problem has existed for over a year with many different models of the Cintiq but Wacom has yet to fix it.

NOT a solid buy (at the moment) if you are running a combination of Windows 7/8 and Photoshop. It doesn't seem to be a universal problem but if you're unlucky enough to have this issue there is no legitimate fix for it- and it is crippling to digital artists.

Other Thoughts: This was supposed to be an upgrade from my Intuous3. The price was steep, but is downright unexcusable considering product-breaking issues with the Cintiq that have yet to be fixed.

1 out of 5 eggsWacom Is Cheap and the Consumer Pays The Price

Pros: - Great product from a conceptual perspective.
- Provides unmatched functionality w/out paying a much higher price.

Cons: - Poorly designed cable port. It's likely to break if bumped the wrong way.
- Wacom decided to go w/ cheap glass instead of the industry proven Corning Gorilla Glass, so within two weeks it already has significant scratches from it's own stylus! Un Freaking Acceptable! My iPhone 4 in comparison has been tossed around for two years now and still doesn't have a single scratch on the front.
- Limited control options compared to higher end models. It would have been nice to have one of the touch slider controls on the back side like the 22HD has, or a rocker ring that has it built in like on the 24HD.

Other Thoughts: I'm a first time Wacom user and honestly should have done my research before buying the 13HD. I would have discovered that they have been dealing with scratching on their displays for years now. That being said, it blows my mind how they can get away with providing a high end product like the Cintiq without combating known issues like scratching with industry proven technologies like Corning Gorilla Glass. It reeks of negligence and is an insult to the consumer. The fact of the matter is, by releasing the 13HD as it is designed, Wacom has proven that they are cheap and aren't willing to change until they are forced by a competitor. However, without any competitors in sight, this might be a long journey for the consumer. Unfortunately for Wacom, they very well might push away their own consumers instead of building brand loyalty.
