5 out of 5 eggsQuality, Lovely, Sexy

Pros: This keyboard is made with quality, definitely worth the $25. It looks nice on my desk too. Very shiny and the UV LED's add a nice touch to it. When you hold it, it feels like it was made very well, not like its gonna break in your hands. I like this better than my friends G15, if that tells you anything.

Cons: No mute button. The keys could have been a tad bit softer to press but overall I'm impressed and satisfied.

Other Thoughts: I'm not used to some of the keys being out of place like a regular keyboard, but that'll adjust over time.

4 out of 5 eggsLittle about monitor

Pros: I just opened up this keyboard and plug it in, I have to say I really enjoy the "feel" of the keyboard and like it very much. I am just getting used to it, it's a little smaller than last keyboard but it was definitely worth the money. The keyboard is very silent when typing and very smooth when typing, don't need to slam keys. I would have to say overall is worth the money.

Cons: Some of the major keys on the keyboard are on the smaller side and kind of crammed in some areas. Overall I still like the keyboard.

Other Thoughts: The body of the keyboard is made out of some type of light metal, but the keys are still plastic.

5 out of 5 eggsSweet keyboard

Pros: Nice size and construction. Excellent quality. My kids like a smaller keyboard and do not miss all "never used" quick launch buttons that that bigger boards have. I ended up buying a second board for me.

Cons: None yet

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I'm very impressed with this keyboard. Basically it's same type used in a laptop, so it's very smooth and quiet. The top casing is indeed brushed aluminum and the LED's are the "ultra-violet" type. Constructed quite well. Not the typical "cheap" quality.

Cons: It's weakness is also it's strength. Being a laptop style keyboard, it's slightly smaller than the typical desktop size. It felt a bit cramped until I became accustomed to it.

Other Thoughts: I use it in an office setting for typical office applications. I would purchase more of these keyboards future. I think it's the perfect size keyboard. Standard keyboards vs. this Hiper, remind me of how bulky and clunky CRT monitors are in comparison to LCD's.

4 out of 5 eggsAfter a year with this keyboard

Pros: Short keystrokes. Thin and small, yet has nice weight to it.

Cons: The paint starts coming off some keys after a month or two. This really uglies up an otherwise nice looking keyboard. I've had a problem with an arrow sticking, but nothing too severe.

Other Thoughts: Just wanted to give an update on my earlier review. This is a good keyboard for the money. I replaced it today with the apple keyboard, which costs twice as much but is totally superior if you want a laptop like keyboard.

FYI - The apple keyboard works well with windows, but may have to map keys for some functions (print screen and insert.)

5 out of 5 eggsFeels great, quiet as a whisper and sturdy with beautiful form and function!

Pros: Simple elegant style, non-obtrusive multimedia hot-keys. Performs and works better than more expensive keyboards of its caliber (i.e, Zippy).

I'd recommend this keyboard to anyone.

Cons: I don't have any cons thus far.

Other Thoughts: For about 2 years I'd been using a similar keyboard by Zippy which used the x-scissor style for their key mechanism. Needless to say a key cap popped off the fragile piece that held it on was broken as

4 out of 5 eggsGreat with one flaw common to most keyboards

Pros: Good layout for a compact keyboard. Key movement is the smoothest and most responsive I've ever felt in a slim keyboard. The keys are connected like a normal "deep" keyboard, they just snap into place - it doesn't use the flimsy "scissor frame" key mounting like other slim keyboards - this means you can safely and easily remove the keys for cleaning. Owned for 6 months and it still looks new, no wear problems.

Cons: Internally it's got typical cheap keyboard electronics - meaning it has the same problem as most other keyboards do: it won't recognize certain combinations of 3 or more keys at once because of the circuit paths being shared. This is common though and only a problem for gaming, even then it's encountered rarely (like trying to hit the use key while diagonally strafing while crouched).

Other Thoughts: Only expensive dedicated gaming keyboards have separate paths for every key anymore, so it's hard to fault the keyboard for that, but it'd be perfect if it didn't have that problem.

I need a compact keyboard because I have limited desk space. I've gone through 5 different models in the last 2 years and until this one they either broke within a month or I hated the way they felt. This keyboard is way, WAY better than all the others I tried - the only one that feels just as solid as a good normal sized keyboard. If you need a compact keyboard I wouldn't waste time with any other model.

5 out of 5 eggsPretty slick little keyboard

Pros: Aluminum casing looks nice. Smooth laptop-like short stroke action on the keys. Cool Purple LEDs. Ultra thin and has tilt feature. Compact, yet has weight to it.

Cons: Little small for big hands. Wish they had made a full-size version of this keyboard.

Other Thoughts: Just got this keyboard today and so far I really like it. It's very thin and has a small footprint for those with little real estate to work with.

I'm noticing that it may even be a little too thin when using a wrist rest, but I'm sure this will just take some getting used to.

I really like that this little keyboard has weight to it - it does not move around like my old keyboard.

I think this is a good buy.
