The SK-1688U/B keyboard from Lite-On provides another choice amongst affordable, entry-level keyboards. The fundamentals of the SK-1688U/B are all standard – the 104-key layout you're used to, ubiquitous USB interface for plug'n'play connection and most importantly the black hue suggesting this is a substantial company for your work, neither showy nor cocky.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: It works. It's a simple keyboard - I use it for everything, gaming, typing, all of it. I didn't want a keyboard with all that frilly stuff, so I went with this.

Cons: What con could you possibly have for this price as long as it worked and the button lights came on?

5 out of 5 eggsGood keyboards.

Pros: Functional, fairly quiet, but still with enough tactile feedback to know when you've hit a key once or held it down for a repeat.
Newegg shipped them on time and undamaged.

Cons: They're pretty plain with no special fancy stuff. No fancy ergonomics, no nothing unusual. Simple, black, keyboards.

Other Thoughts: Its a keyboard. It was on sale so I bought several. They work, they're good for gaming or work, they aren't snazzy but who really cares?

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Very inexpensive.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I've had this keyboard for about 2 years now and it's still working like brand new. I can't say the same for other keyboards I've spend 3 times more money on. This is truly the best value I have found.

4 out of 5 eggsOkay, but not as comfortable as I'd hople

Pros: Ever since my Keytronic PS/2 keyboard died, I've been on a quest for an equally comfortable keyboard. The Lite-On was okay, but I later learned that the Microsoft 300 keyboard was better.

Cons: A little stiff.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: -Cheap
-Pretty durable for what you get
-The markings on the keys don't fade very easily. My 'S' key is the only key that is faded and that's after hundreds of hours of use.

Cons: -Doesn't do yardwork/housework for you

Other Thoughts: It was a steal.

Other Thoughts: Probably the best $8 I've ever spent.

5 out of 5 eggsRegular keyboard

Pros: It's a keyboard.
It works.
The keys are very soft and quiet. This can be a con if you like the mechanical keyboards with the key response and the clicks and a clacks.

Cons: The escape key is kinda far and out from the other keys but that's not really a con.

Other Thoughts: Cheap keyboard that does what you want it to do.

5 out of 5 eggsBest 7 dollar keyboard ever

Pros: light keys, sleek look, cheap, usb. amazing for the price.

Cons: not free

Other Thoughts: I think they stopped selling this keyboard because it was way too good of a value. Its comparable with much more expensive keyboards. it doesnt feel cheap when you type on it at all.
