The Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000 has been expertly crafted to allow you to work in a more natural position. The new Gull Wing design features a 14-degree gable, a natural arc and a curved key bed — bringing the keys closer to your fingers to reduce reach and unnecessary motion, while encouraging a more natural typing position. Works Very Well
- Pros: Works as it should, after you use it every day for hours the keys become louder, not loud but more noisy than when originally purchased. I had some problems with my hands and wrists from typing on a regular keyboard, got several of these, one for work, one for home..no more pains from typing
- Cons: Can become noisy after broken in.
Spacebar
- Pros: The keyboard itself is a fantastic keyboard. Great design, great feel and allows for very comfortable typing.
- Cons: Received a keyboard with a space bar that was incredibly hard to push and when I managed to it would make a very very loud noise and then stick half of the time. The key itself also had a crack in the center-top part of it.
- Other Thoughts: Asking newegg to help me out and allow me to use the cost of this keyboard as credit towards a retail version, BEWARE OF THE OEM VERSION! Spend the extra couple of bucks and go for the retail.

Good, would be better if it actually worked
- Pros: Love the layout. Very easy on the hands.
- Cons: Does not work right out of the box. A few keys work - all others are dead.
- Other Thoughts: This came up in other reviews: do yourself a favor and buy a retail version. Avoid OEM version of this keyboard at all costs.
Does what I want it to
- Pros: The ergonomic design is comfortable to use and the keyboard controls are great.
- Cons: The space bar! It is very loud and rather hard to press down.
- Other Thoughts: If it hadn't been at such a good price I would have returned it because I absolutely loathe the space key. Aside from that it feels and functions good.

- Cons: -Some tweaking of the software might be required to get specific keys to work correctly
- Other Thoughts: I own two of these, one for work and one for home. Both were from newegg and both are OEM. This is a great keyboard no matter what others are saying.
This is the most comfortable keyboard I've been able to find that is at an affordable price [bought on sale for $23 each].
I would suggest this for anyone who wants a keyboard with a comfortable ergonomic design.

Snap in the optional palm lift to experience the seven-degree reversed slope.
As you type, rest your wrists on the supportive, integrated palm rest. The palm rest makes typing for long intervals more comfortable.
Open a spreadsheet and move the Zoom Slider up and down to zoom in and out.
Save the spreadsheet and then assign it to a My Favorites Key by pressing and holding one of the five keys.
Close out of the spreadsheet, and then press the My Favorites Key you assigned it to, to quickly access it again.
Open your Web browser and click around on a few pages. Use the Back and Forward keys to navigate pages without ever having to remove your hands from the keyboard. |
