Over the past 11 years, Microsoft Hardware has been evolving its #1 best-selling Natural keyboard with timesaving features and sleek finishes. Now, the company is excited to introduce a new Natural keyboard featuring a breakthrough ergonomic design, developed for the loyal users that already love split keyboards.
The Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000 has been expertly crafted to allow you to work in a more natural position. The new Gull Wing design features a 14-degree gable, a natural arc and a curved key bed — bringing the keys closer to your fingers to reduce reach and unnecessary motion, while encouraging a more natural typing position. It also comes equipped with an optional palm lift for a seven-degree reverse slope and a cushioned wrist rest that encourages better arm and wrist alignment.
Microsoft’s Natural keyboards, a fixed alternative keyboard design, have been found to significantly reduce carpal tunnel syndrome symptoms. They also reduce awkward posture, one of the risk factors associated with common workplace injuries.
Pros: Works as it should, after you use it every day for hours the keys become louder, not loud but more noisy than when originally purchased. I had some problems with my hands and wrists from typing on a regular keyboard, got several of these, one for work, one for home..no more pains from typing
Cons: Can become noisy after broken in.

Spacebar

Pros: The keyboard itself is a fantastic keyboard. Great design, great feel and allows for very comfortable typing.
Cons: Received a keyboard with a space bar that was incredibly hard to push and when I managed to it would make a very very loud noise and then stick half of the time. The key itself also had a crack in the center-top part of it.
Other Thoughts: Asking newegg to help me out and allow me to use the cost of this keyboard as credit towards a retail version, BEWARE OF THE OEM VERSION! Spend the extra couple of bucks and go for the retail.

Cons: I hate that the keyboard just stops working one day for no reason. This is my second one dead in two years.

Pros: Awesome keyboard. It took a little while to get used to, but now I love it!
Cons: OEM.
Other Thoughts: I ordered the OEM, and the 'x' key did not work. Called Microsoft and they sent me a brand new retail keyboard within 3 days. Not bad...!

Pros: I love the design of the keyboard and how well it integrates with my computer. It's range is pretty good and I haven't had any problems with keys sticking or clicking when I push them. The mouse is also working very well and I haven't had any problems with it.
Cons: The keyboard worked well for the first two months or so but now it's giving me issues. Typing is a nuisance because if you go to fast it misses letters or other buttons you push. Also if you hold a button down for a while it will stop after a few seconds. This is inconvenient while trying to play games because either the letter you hit won't do anything or you will stop going forward because it stops sending the info. I tried changing the batteries, disconnecting the receiver from the computer, resetting the device and trying to troubleshoot with the program it came with but nothing has solved the issue.
