3 out of 5 eggsOK Keyboard

Pros: Easy setup, all the extra function keys you might need (calculator, volume control, 5 custom keys)

Cons: I dont like the angle of the keyboard, or the basic layout of the keys, always seem to hit the wrong key.

Other Thoughts: It is a good keyboard

4 out of 5 eggsDecent keyboard overall

Pros: Relatively cheap, lots of keys, calculator button, relatively comfortable, media bar (for skipping songs in WMP, etc). Works great with windows as well. Works great with the OS to make macros, etc. Can easily disable any buttons you want to, or change them.

Cons: Really there are only a few, and they're relatively small.

First and foremost: This is my 3rd time buying one of these in about 2-3 years. On the first one i owned the W key eventually wore out to the point where it would stick horribly. The last one, which i owned for about 14 months is now having the same issue pretty horribly with the 3 button, and its starting to develop on the a and d keys as well. I will say ive put countless hours in on games since then, and for gaming i should probably get a keyboard made for it (however the pros for this one are pretty awesome, and without dropping 100+ for a gaming keyboard, i cant get everything i want).

Second: Its been addressed in some of the other reviews (maybe on the OEM version), but the escape key is pretty small. Its a bit annoying for gaming, and any other application that would benefit from liberal use of the Esc key (IE: drafting, photoshop). Its a small issue, but one to be aware of.

Other Thoughts: Third: I ran out of room in the cons section, and frankly this isnt really an issue with they keyboard, but its a bit harder to clean than most other keyboards if you spill something on it. I spend a fair amount of time on my computer, and often have a drink of some sort. I will say that this has nothing to do with my keys that are worn out, and typically the 'issue' is with the media keys since theyre smaller, and dont have as much room around them. Again, its not really an issue with the product, but something to think about.

Overall i recommend this keyboard though. Even with having to buy a third one already (avg life of a year and a half probably?) I would still recommend it. My use is far higher than most users, and the benefits outweigh the cons. You could fork out more money for a keyboard that might not wear out as fast, but overall its cheaper to just order a new one when it wears out.

5 out of 5 eggsBuy this...it's amazing

Pros: I did extensive research on keyboards before I selected one. This is the one I selected and I couldn't be happier.

Cons: The only con I have is that I wish the wrist pad was larger on this but other than that...none.

Other Thoughts: Buy it...I love it.

5 out of 5 eggsInexpensive, customizable

Pros: Nice and sturdy. Very inexpensive. Comes with software to customize keys. There are several very useful keys, i.e. [email button], [new document], [open default music player], [open picture folder], [zoom +/-] etc, which are all customizable.

Cons: Very top row of keys (some of the customizable ones) feel cheap.

Other Thoughts: Forgot to mention the calculator button. Gotta love it.

5 out of 5 eggsNice Keyboard Confortable Keys

Pros: I find this keyboard very nice to type and play the function keys are very useful in case you need them as a quick shortcut.

Cons: The (F) function key must be activated in order to use f1 f2 f3 ...... otherwise it works only as open, undo, redo, new, etc they should of done this backwards like the laptops have its not a big deal i got used to it.

Other Thoughts: I bought this keyboard because my previous keyboard some keys stopped working and it drove me nuts, one day before i got this new keyboard my old one started working fine like saying don't trow me out it was funny.

3 out of 5 eggsMeh

Pros: keys are low profile and are pretty quiet in my opinion compared to some keyboards. The 5 programmable keys are pretty nice. I use them often.

Cons: Media keys do not work properly for me in Winamp like they originally did even after having installed most recent updates to the drivers. I find myself fumbling with the function keys often as they are not grouped. I Have an issue with some lag between the keyboard volume control and the computer.

Other Thoughts: Not that great of a keyboard. Pretty old model. I'm sure you can find something way better for the same or close to the same price.

3 out of 5 eggsOverrated

Pros: Lots of extra buttons, easy customization of keys, looks nice.

Cons: Flimsy and easily breakable, game mode doesn't work as it should, F keys are not grouped into fours.

Other Thoughts: I'm moderately pleased with this keyboard, but one thing I'm sure of is that it isn't worth the price I paid for it. Within two weeks one of the kick stands broke off the underside of it. The whole thing has a cheap feeling to it: you can hear the plastic creak when you put your hands on it!

The software is good in some regards, but as I gamer I found it disappointing. While it's easy to customize the extra buttons using the included software, the keyboard's "game mode" didn't work for me at all. (Game mode is supposed to disable extra buttons while in a game) Some of the buttons caused issues in a game I was playing, so I set the keyboard to disable all extra keys while in that game. Lo and behold, those keys are still active while playing the game and continue to cause problems. It would have been better not to include a feature like that if it does nothing.

I would have expected much more out of a keyboard in this price range.

2 out of 5 eggsms 3000 media keyboard

Pros: Very aesthetic compared to other keyboards in the same price range. Keys initially feel perfect and crisp.

Cons: I've bought this keyboard twice and both times the keys began to feel stale and cheap after a few months. Being a casual gamer this is especially evident with the WASD keys.

Other Thoughts: I noticed other people having the same problem with the keys. If you just need a cheap, temporary, aesthetic keyboard this is your pick. Otherwise go for something nicer.
