4 out of 5 eggsGreat Keyboard Except...

Pros: Overall great keyboard. Fast and easy macro buttons. Great feel to them. Modular numpad. I always take that off for alot of things but sometimes it is really annoying when I carry them around and they fall apart. Not really a problem. Good lighting and love the volume control. The media keys work only with certain program I.E. to what I can see is Window Media Player.

Cons: Ghosting is a really big issue I have on this. Some buttons have better anti-ghosting than others. You cannot press Ctrl + W + R. Which is a problem for certain FPS for me namely CounterStrike. However some keys such as your typically 8 keys from typing A S D F J K L ;, can anti-ghost all together. Not sure how I'm going to use that in gaming but maybe I'll find a way. I checked just recently too that there are no updates in drivers or firmware for this to improve anti-ghosting so just be warn. Other than that I think the keyboard is awesome.

Other Thoughts: For the most part it was worth the money. I'll just try to find a way to avoid ghosting.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat

Pros: Works good, has back lighting and macro keys. Still works after 4.5 years. I purchased from Newegg on 10/30/2009.

Cons: After several years of heavy use, the black coating on the keys will start to wear off.

Other Thoughts: Replacement keys would be great, as the keyboard itself still works fine, other then F9 being a little funky, and the coating on WASD and shift wearing off.

A bit more durable coating to measure up to the mechanical durability would increase it's value.

5 out of 5 eggsKeyboard rocks

Pros: great tactile feel . This is one of the better keyboards I have used. It has so much control to it I don't think I'll ever be able to use it all.

Cons: None that I vcan think of how do you improve perfection??

Other Thoughts: Get this keyboard you really can't go wrong.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Absolutely outstanding keyboard. The lights are not too bright at the brightest setting. The keys have the right amount of give, yet have a good feel on the bounce-back as well. It feels natural when typing for me at least. The movable or removable numpad is an absolutely genius idea. Its held it by high powered magnets both on the keyboard and numpad itself, so it won't budge unless you WANT to remove it. Win 7 has automatic recognition of the device, so I had no problem setting it up and getting it working with my computer.

Cons: The only thing I could call a possible downfall so far is the querky misplacement of the Esc key. Its a bit off from "normal" keyboards, but IMHO it just takes some getting used to.

Other Thoughts: Does exactly what I need to plus more. I'm more of a gaming type user, but it definitely will suit the person who does a LOT of typing as well.

Eggcellent jerb NEWEGG.

5 out of 5 eggsLOVE IT

Pros: macro keys are wonderfully useful detachable numpad is also very convenient sense i don't use it unless I'm gaming
nice and heavy not like some cheaper keyboards

back lighting is perfect and great adjustment knob
everything works great in windows 7 x64 (had trouble at first but after going to the device manager and updating driver it works great :)

I CAN FINALLY TURN OFF THE CAPS LOCK KEY xD

Cons: keys are like a laptop keyboard feel not sure if its a con really or not yet but figured id add it

only 2 keys i'm not COMPLETELY satisfied about are the left and right directional arrows they don't seem to be as well lit as the rest of the board still very visible just a perfectionist

Other Thoughts: great keyboard MUCH nicer than the saitek boards i've used

5 out of 5 eggsCool Beans.

Pros: I really like the backlight(red). It matches the rest of my setup quite well. Keys type very nicely. No complaints there. I just feel so totally hardcore when using this thing with the sexy red backlight. Mmm!

Cons: No stands on back like most keyboards have. It does take away from the comfort not having those.

Other Thoughts: Number pad attachment has an awesome magnetic snapping feature to EITHER side. I didn't know how it worked before so I thought I would tell you guys just in case. It does stay on well even when holding it in the air and shuffling it around. However you cannot pick up the keyboard by this attachment or lean on it. Strange experience when you forget.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: sweet keyboard, great feel, love the becklights.

Cons: i am having trouble with the record macro function. i can get it to record the macro and play it. but i cant find a way to get it to auto-repeat the macro. and i havent been able to use it with auto-keystroke programs because the macro button doesnt register as a key.

Other Thoughts: If anyone can help me with the problem id really appreciate it.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat keyboard!!!

Pros: Backlit is very bright; backlit is also adjustable with the knob beside the volume it can be adjusted all the way down, nice big volume knob, tons programmable keys and removable 10 key.

Cons: These are not problems but some people might want them, no internal USB hub or headphone jack witch most gaming keyboards have.

Other Thoughts: I had a USB Dell keyboard before, with the volume knob and hotkeys. But this volume knob fills like a nice stereo receiver knob. I also removed the 10 key and left it off for more desk space.
